January 22nd Freyalyn . A talk with demonstration on her special dyeing techniques. Hand dyed fibres will be for sale.
February 26th. Eira Hughes. Twined knitting. A short talk and demonstration and a chance for members to have a go.
March 26th. Ruby Porter. Sreepur Orphanage. A talk about this Bangladeshi orphanage and their Kantha embroidery work. Sales of cards and gifts made at the orphanage will be available to buy.
April 23rd. Helen Smith of Clothaholics. A talk on Vintage Japanese Kimono fabrics. Kimono and fabrics will be on sale.
May 28th. Members Day. Fibre Focus : Silk. A consideration by members on the types of silk and how we as individuals make use of them. (Averil)
June 25th. (Woolfest) Members’ Day .
July 23rd. Averil Otiv. The Donkey Loom. Flat Braids and Fringes and other
techniques.
September 24th. Judith Ferns. Town and Country Books. A bookable workshop making books with maps as covers and pages. Wire, threads and sticks will also be involved.
October 22nd. Debbie Tomkies . Drain pipe dyeing and sock dyeing on a knitted panel. A bookable workshop.
November 26th. AGM and Christmas Party.
